Auction items this year ranged from meals with celebrities to concert tickets to get-aways in the Smokies and Pigeon Forge to wine, home-grown market baskets, autographed books by area authors and locally-made jewelry. Auction chair Georgiana Vines used not only imagination but also lots of energy to gather more than 200 items this year. One of those was picked up by co-chair Jim Crooks from the artist who lives in the Governor’s Mansion in Nashville.
